What sits inside a brokerage platform

A broker platform is an order pipeline with risk controls wrapped around it. Client orders arrive from a terminal, pass pre-trade risk and margin checks, route through a bridge to internal execution or an external liquidity provider, then settle into positions that a risk desk monitors in real time. Around that sit onboarding and KYC, payments and withdrawals, IB/affiliate structures, reporting and the CRM your sales team lives in.

  • Order management with market, limit, stop, trailing stop and partial fills
  • Liquidity bridge and smart routing across multiple LPs with failover
  • Real-time A-book / B-book risk classification and exposure dashboards
  • Margin, leverage tiers, negative-balance protection and margin calls
  • Client portal, onboarding, KYC/AML, deposits, withdrawals and PSP routing
  • IB and affiliate hierarchies with automated rebate calculation

Terminals traders keep open

We build web and native terminals with streaming charts, depth of market, one-click trading, watchlists, position and order management, and alerting — tuned so a mid-range phone on a mobile network still renders quotes smoothly. Terminals talk to the core over WebSocket with delta updates rather than full snapshots.

Own platform or MT5 alongside?

Many brokers run a licensed platform for legacy clients and a proprietary platform for growth, because the proprietary one is where differentiation and margin live. We integrate with existing MT4/MT5 estates through bridges and reporting, while building the proprietary stack in parallel so you can migrate clients gradually.

Reporting, audit and regulator readiness

Trade and transaction reporting, client statements, best-execution evidence, immutable audit logs and exportable datasets for your regulator or auditor are part of the build, not a later project.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to launch a broker platform?

A focused single-asset launch with web terminal, client portal and risk dashboard takes about 12–16 weeks. A full multi-asset platform with mobile apps, CRM and IB structures is typically 6–9 months.

Can you connect our existing liquidity providers?

Yes. We connect over FIX 4.4/5.0, REST or proprietary APIs, with multi-LP routing, failover and per-LP markup and hedging rules.

Do you build the CRM and back office too?

Yes — onboarding, KYC queues, payments and withdrawals, IB hierarchies, rebates, reporting and role-based admin access.

Can we keep MT5 while you build our own platform?

Yes. We integrate with your MT4/MT5 estate and run the proprietary platform in parallel, then migrate clients in stages.

What does a trading platform build cost?

Single-asset launches typically start around USD 80,000. Full multi-asset platforms with mobile apps and back office are scoped after discovery and usually exceed USD 200,000.
